Everything the case files summarize, unabridged. Every crossed-out line, every signal chain, every 3 a.m. decision — exactly as it happened.

What's inside

The record behind the record.

01

Annotated lyrics for 8 songs

Every draft that mattered, with margin notes on why lines lived or died. Includes the eleven bridges of “Heft of Silence” and the two dead lines of “Phantom Dial.”

02

Full production notes + signal chains

Mic placements, preamp settings, the BigSky patch that glitched into a signature — documented per song so you can rebuild any of it.

03

Voice memo timestamps + transcripts

The 3:17 a.m. “Porch Light” memo and eleven others, transcribed and time-stamped — hear exactly where each song turned.

04

Stems download link (2 songs)

Isolated vocal, acoustic, and reverb bus for “Porch Light” and “Cinderlight.” Remix them, study them, sing over them.

05

Writing process essay — 3,000 words

The five rooms, the six rules, and the failures that paid for them. The closest thing to a manual this writing room has.

Fair questions Answered

Is it really free?

Yes. One email with the PDF and the stems link. Later notebooks go to the same list first — also free, always.

Can I use the stems?

For learning, remixing, and singing over: absolutely. For commercial release, write first — the answer is usually yes with credit.

How often do notebooks drop?

When a case closes — roughly twice a year. The list hears drafts monthly in between, only when there's something worth hearing.
